Here’s an artist with PATIENCE.

MICHAL TAHARLEV creates art pieces by poking holes into canvases with a needle using the style of pointillism to create depth and shadows. I love how the canvases are physically damaged yet appear so delicate. The images chosen to portray are old family photos – making the images quite personal.

“The use of a needle on a photo is the violent act of damaging and obsessing over memories, yet in a very strict manner, it gives a new meaning to the innocence and the unknown future the photos hold.” – Michal Taharlev

I love it. Its deep, delicate, and beautiful. Enjoy her pieces everyone!

Credit goes to ODDITYCENTRAL, DESIGN MILK, and IGNANT for being awesome and providing me with her pieces and information about this lovely artist.
